Bio
Katie is a brand strategist and communications specialist with 15 years of experience, most recently focused on sustainability, waste, recycling, and smart city tech through her roles at Rubicon and now Routeware. Katie was recognized in 2024 as a Waste360 ‘40 Under 40’ award winner and continues to enjoy her work with a diverse range of customers and partners, sharing sustainability success stories, fostering dialogue about circular solutions and smart city technology, and inspiring broader change across the waste and recycling industry. Her passion lies in mission-driven work that inspires impact through effective communication and stakeholder engagement, a focus she looks forward to exploring through her board work with the Utah Recycling Alliance and Recycle Utah. Katie and her family live and play in Park City, UT, and are endlessly grateful for the many environmental and cultural opportunities this beautiful state has to offer.
