Princeton Arts Alumni is delighted to host an alum-to-alum mentorship program in Fall 2025!
We know that the strength of the arts lies in its community, and our mentorship program is designed to cultivate and fortify that network of mutual support and collaborative engagement, nurturing our shared commitment to the arts through joy and resilience.
This program is for everyone in our network who engages with the arts in their career, regardless of their specific discipline or career stage. Whether you are a painter, a digital media creator, a nonprofit administrator, a theater practitioner, an art historian, or multi-hyphenate, our goal is to create spaces for interaction and collaboration that break down generational divides and catalyze new connections.
Our approach is uniquely structured to facilitate this:
Thoughtful Pairings: We create intentional pairings between experienced members and emerging talent, aligned with your specific interests and intended skill development.
Catalyzing New Interactions: While we provide a strong, one-on-one foundation, we also foster a community of learning and engagement. Our program is designed to catalyze new interactions, creating a network of mutual support that extends far beyond your direct pairing.
The Continuation of Learning: We see mentorship as a continuation of learning, not just a one-way street. Understanding that everyone has something to learn and something to teach, our program supports this by connecting individuals across generations and creates pathways for alums to serve as both mentors and mentees.
Our mentorship program is designed as a focused, cohort-based experience from October to December of 2025. We know that the most meaningful relationships are built on shared purpose and mutual support. In joining this program, you become part of a community committed to supporting each other's creative and professional journeys, building joy, connection, and resilience.
Understanding that everyone has something to learn and something to teach, our program creates pathways for alums to serve as both mentors and mentees.
As a mentee, you will be matched with a mentor to discuss your interests in the arts and professional development.
As a mentor, you would serve as an adviser to one to three mentee(s) (depending on your preference). Your assigned mentees may be “mentored” either separately or via group sessions. At minimum, all mentors are expected to have at least 3 “coffee chat” style interactions with their mentee(s), which can be over Zoom, before December 20th.
Sign up to be a mentor, mentee, or both! As the inaugural cohort will take place Oct. 16 - Dec. 16th, 2025, this sign-up form will close on October 15th, 2025 at 11:59pm.
