Me in 50 words or less:
“There are no limits for those that refuse to accept them” is a quote by Chuck Norris I try to live by. I believe in the hope of rainbows and starry skies, the power of children in creating better tomorrows, and the wonder that our creativity helps bring to the world.

Bio

By day, I split my time working as a physician at two local colleges and chasing my kids around. Both medicine and parenting can be physically draining and emotionally exhausting, so by night, I find being able to pursue creative projects helps bring balance to my life and help make me a better husband, father, and physician. When I was an undergrad, some friends and I founded Princeton’s first breaking (“breakdancing”) group, Sympoh, out of mutual love of dance, gymnastics, and martial arts, and I continue to practice when I can. I also enjoy writing fantasy novels, making illustrations for them, creating musical soundtracks for the books, and sculpting/resin-casting little figurines based on the characters.

Artist Statement

I write fairy tale fantasy novels inspired by 80s sci fi and fantasy movies I grew up watching as a child, many of which were essentially fairy tales in their own right. Many 80s movies and cartoons also had associated toys and songs created for them, which is how I have envisioned these projects.
