West Fest

WEST FEST, the annual arts & advocacy community event produced by West Oakland Matters, will take place July 26th, 2026 and has put out its Calls for Artworks from painters, printmakers, photographers, videographers and filmmakers. Eligibility embraces artists who are West Oaklanders by birth, residency, work location, or theme of the artworks. This event is acknowledged by the West Oakland creative community, the Oakland Mayor and City Council, US Berkeley and Mills College, ABC7 News and Kaiser Permanente, and Oakland Art Murmur among others. Artist registration is at westoaklandmatters.org/news and the exhibition is July 26th, 2026 in West Oakland.
