The Motorcycle Man

Jason Ward '92's short film 'The Motorcycle Man' is currently screening in film festivals nationally and internationally. Tristine Skyler '93 and Patrick McKee '92 served as executive producers.

Billed as a '21st-century trip set in the birthplace of the 60's,' the film is a slice of Americana starring Tony Award-winner John Glover as an easy-riding and sharp-tongued guide to two young travelers searching for Ken Kesey's cabin deep in Northern California's Santa Cruz Mountains. It was reviewed as "an intimate and sharp portrait of American counterculture, moving between poetry and realism" by the Milano magazine Moda e Motori after playing in Modena, Italy.

Jason received the Best Director award at the film's April world premiere in Ithaca, New York. Upcoming screenings include River's Edge in Kentucky; Asheville, North Carolina; and Ridgway, Colorado.
