Save the Dates June 21-29, 2024, - Chelsea Music Festival's 15th season

Announcing the Chelsea Music Festival's 15th Season, June 21-29, 2024! "Connecting the Dots" traces how music and art allows us to touch what seems intangible, repair what seems broken, and reimagine our interconnectedness with one another.

In the Festival's 15th season, we focus on the restorative powers of the arts as we examine ways that music and art both calm and reinvigorate the brain and nervous system. We will also explore together various neurological challenges and changes we can encounter in ourselves and our loved ones.

This season’s programming brings together important voices in new music with works by composers including Ania Vu, Tebogo Monnakgotla, Nicky Sohn, Jacob Beranek, and Augusta Read Thomas, as well as chamber music by Poulenc, Fauré, Smetana, Fanny Mendelssohn and Clara & Robert Schumann. Our illustrious Jazz lineup will include luminaries such as bassist, John Patitucci, pianists Renee Rosnes, Helen Sung & Adam Birnbaum, and percussionists Keito Ogawa and Rogério Boccato in programs showcasing collaboration and jazz plasticity.

As always, we will combine music with culinary and visual arts as we Hear, Taste, & See together. Stay tuned for announcements about our featured artists in these fields as well as news about preconcert lectures and workshops on brain health presented in partnership with institutions including Michael J. Fox Foundation, Arts & Minds, Growing Brains, and the Zuckerman Mind Brain Institute at Columbia University.
