Call for screenwriters and playwrights: share your voice on the industry and AI

Hello there,

My name is Jeremy (class of 2022), and I’m currently a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania researching how dramatic writers are thinking about and responding to generative AI, especially in the context of their creative work and careers.

I'm looking to interview both screenwriters and playwrights about their experiences in the industry. Additionally, you do not need to have used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) before to be eligible for this study. Your perspective would be incredibly valuable in helping me understand how creative professionals navigate and make sense of evolving technological and industry landscapes.

The interview would last about an hour. Interviews are typically virtually, but I can meet in person if you are in the Philadelphia/Princeton/New York area---whatever works best for you. Moreover, if you know anyone who you think might be interested in speaking with me, please send me their contact information or forward my request. This would mean a lot to me and be a great help!
