Juliette Carbonnier '24: Sketch/Note

Brainy: I did this doodle-type drawing after having a brain MRI. I was having some serious migraines, so the MRI was to ensure that there was nothing in my brain setting these off. I thought it was so cool to see my brain, so I wanted to draw it! In general, I find it very relaxing and empowering to draw medical images like this one. It reminds me what we all really look like and how cool our bodies are.

Mega Mane Maya: I made this drawing after seeing a photo of this young girl with big hair and a chunky sweater. As I drew her, my mind became absolutely convinced that her name was Maya, so I gave her a proper title.

Faces (unfinished): This is an unfinished piece that I started over a year ago. I was experimenting with making weird faces and seeing how my face folded to accommodate various expressions. I am hoping to finish this drawing (hopefully I will return to it now that it's been a year!), but even looking at it unfinished amuses me.
