Bio
Monica Pelaez is a Professor of English at St. Cloud State University with degrees from Princeton and Brown. Her forthcoming book is "Coming Unbound: The War on Slavery Three Women Waged in Writing" (Stanford University Press). She was a historical consultant on the Apple TV series "Dickinson," and the editor of "Lyrical Liberators: The American Anti-Slavery Movement in Verse, 1831-1865" (Ohio University Press). She lives in Minneapolis.
