Bio
Jon Young “Jenny” Kim is a film professional with roots in theater, whose experience spans production, development, and translation. Currently pursuing her MFA at USC’s Peter Stark Producing Program, she bridges the Korean and American film industries through a global, multifaceted background. Jenny has interned at Madison Wells, Esmail Corp, and Look at the Moon Pictures, and previously served as 1st APOC on Netflix’s XO, Kitty S2 and as International Film Sales & Marketing Coordinator at Finecut International. Her work also includes coordinating under festival programmers at the Busan, Jeonju, and Jecheon film festivals, serving as the writer's room translator for Apple TV+’s Dr. Brain, and working as part of the curatorial team for the Victoria & Albert Museum’s Hallyu! exhibition. A recipient of Princeton University’s Toni Morrison Prize, Jenny is dedicated to telling cross-cultural stories that champion underrepresented voices, particularly those of Asian women, and resonate with audiences worldwide.
