From 2021-2025, Scholick served as Director of Education & Training, overseeing programs that serve over 40,000 people annually, including San Francisco Ballet School and the Dance in Schools and Communities residency program. In these roles, she developed audience engagement initiatives including podcasts, lecture series, and digital programming.
Scholick earned her PhD in Comparative Literature from UCLA in 2016, where her dissertation examined the intersection of dance, poetry, and politics during the Cold War era. Her academic work has been published in The Oxford Handbook of Contemporary Ballet (2021) and Dance Chronicle (2018). She holds a BA magna cum laude from Princeton University in Comparative Literature with certificates in Theater & Dance and European Cultural Studies.
