Bio

As an entertainment and intellectual property attorney at Loeb & Loeb, Brandon Zamudio advises producers, studios, networks, authors, and artists across television, theater, film, music, and publishing.

His work spans the full lifecycle of content development and production, both domestic and international, including underlying rights acquisitions (particularly for screen-to-stage adaptations) and co-production, financing, investment, author, and talent agreements. Additionally, he serves as day-to-day production counsel and provides strategic legal guidance on copyright, trademark, and right of publicity issues. Fluent in Spanish and proficient in French, he has also advised on projects for Spanish- and French-language audiences.

In addition to his transactional and advisory practice, Brandon has experience in copyright, trademark, defamation, and contract litigation, as well as global trademark prosecution and IP enforcement. He has firsthand in-house experience at Sony Pictures, where he advised on chain of title, remake/sequel rights, copyright termination, and WGA separated rights.

Brandon brings deep industry knowledge to his legal practice, having worked as a theatre producer on Broadway and Off-Broadway, as well as in business-side roles at The Walt Disney Studios.

He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School as a James Kent Scholar, earning the Michael D. Remer Prize in Arts & Copyright Law. He holds an A.B. with honors in Politics from Princeton University, with minors in Theater and French.

Brandon is an associate board member of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, a member of The Copyright Society, and a fellow of The Broadway League.
