As part of the Princeton Club of New York's Informative Cabaret series, singer Katie Welsh '15 explores the role and representation of New York City in Broadway musicals with insights and songs from The New Yorkers, On the Town, Sweet Charity, Company, Follies, 42nd Street, Annie, Thoroughly Modern Millie and more. Katie will be accompanied by pianist David Pearl.
Katie Welsh is a singer specializing in musical theater and the Great American Songbook and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Princeton University. Recent performances include solo engagements at Feinstein's/54 Below, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, the Metropolitan Room and BroadwayCon. Welsh is also a researcher and writer on topics of musical theater.
