This concert features the series debut of New York Philharmonic principal cellist Carter Brey, who will play Mendelssohn’s D-Major Cello Sonata with pianist Donna Weng Friedman in preparation for their upcoming concert at Princeton University. Violinist Eriko Sato, concert master of St. Luke's Orchestra and Orpheus also joins Ms. Weng Friedman on stage performing the heartbreakingly beautiful Nocturne by Lili Boulanger.
