"Convincing," a poem by Jeanette Beebe '14, was published in the latest issue of Salamander, a print + web literary journal based in Boston. The poem explores what it means to be a journalist. It begins with an expert pigeon trainer who asked whether we can “compare having a poem with having a baby,” inspired by the idea that “a hen is only an egg’s way of making another egg.” Sixth Finch, an online literary journal, also published a poem by Beebe this spring: "Tremolo." There are birds in this poem, too.

Given ongoing pandemic restrictions, the album was written, performed, and produced entirely by Norwood from his apartment in Brooklyn. As always, all Blanker projects are available free of charge.
