A Collaboration Between PA2 and MoVA

Epitomizing the intersection of arts and technology

PA2 and MoVA are thrilled to collaborate on a project that celebrates creativity, connection, and innovation.

Founded by a team of Princeton alumni who met in architecture school, MoVA blends design, sustainability, and smart technology to create beautifully functional objects. Their work exemplifies the power of creative collaboration and innovation born at the intersection of disciplines.

At the heart of MoVA’s product is a 3D-printed, biodegradable material embedded with an NFC chip—the same secure technology used in tap-to-pay credit cards. With just a tap, the chip launches a webpage—no app needed—unlocking a world of content from product details and origin stories to exclusive digital experiences. It’s a streamlined, encrypted, and cost-effective way to add a digital layer to physical objects, working especially well with iPhones thanks to Apple’s built-in support.

This is more than a tech tool—it’s a thoughtful expression of design and engineering, created by a team deeply rooted in the arts and driven by a vision for smarter, more meaningful interaction.

To bring this spirit to life, PA2 and MoVA teamed up to create a limited line of smart, sustainable swag. Designed by and for Princeton arts alumni, these pieces are more than keepsakes— —they’re interactive touchpoints that reflect the innovative heart of our community.
