It is summer, 1960. Paris. Richard Wright, author of the novel Native Son and the autobiography Black Boy shares his experience as a Black man in America. He talks about poverty, racism, the Communist Party he joined as a young man and his thoughts about civil rights in the United States and a visionary post-colonial future. As members of his audience you are then encouraged to ask him questions about his perspective and life choices.
