Beau features eight actor-musicians telling the story of Ace Baker – a young queer man whose life is forever changed when he discovers his deceased grandfather is actually still alive. Family secrets unravel as Ace rushes to make up for lost time with a man who changes his life by putting a guitar in his hand.

Miyuki Miyagi '12 will play the role of Daphney and play violin in the band of this actor-instrumentalist production. The piece is written by Douglas Lyons and Ethan D. Pakchar. It is directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes and plays at Theatre 154 in the West Village from June 6th through July 27th. BEAU is produced by Out of the Box Theatrics.
