Brittany Haas, fiddler and '09 grad, reunites with her bluegrass band, Crooked Still for a week of shows in the northeast, starting in New York City. They'll perform on the NPR radio show Live From Here (which is a live concert as well, in the beautiful Town Hall--Brittany is often the fiddler in the house band), followed by a night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, a show in Albany, one in western Massachusetts, and finally, 3 nights in Cambridge with a different opener each evening. She joined this group while in the midst of her studies at Princeton and went on to record 3 studio albums and a live album and tour the world with them for four years. The band has been on hiatus since 2012 with the occasional reunion celebration gig--this week of shows is a special happening!
